Description

This pattern was originally a girl’s skirt (pictured in blue) about 10 years ago. So many requests came in for the grown up version that we have finally done this Mother and Daughter skirt. It is worked from the top down so that rounds may be added as your special girl gets taller or, to be whatever length you need. Once the pattern is established, just changing the hook sizes will allow for the flare of the skirt as has been done in patterns from the 70’s. Yarn Recommedation: 1, (2,3,3,4) balls Silk Garden Sock yarn (wool and silk blend) OR for the summer version use 1 (2, 3,3,4) balls Omega Dalia (cotton in variegated and plain colours). Crochet Hooks: 3.5 mm (E) 4.0 mm (F); 4.5 mm (G); 5.00 mm (H). Extra Notions Required: 1 length of 5 mm elastic 5 cm (2 “) shorter than the actual waist measurement. Sizes: Width at hip in cm 59 (61,81, 92, 102) Width at hip in inches 22 (24, 32, 36, 40). Length in Cm 28 (38, 56, 71, 71) Length in inches 11 (15, 22, , 28, 28)
